The KIT Foundation is represented by an honorary board of directors and a top-class board of trustees. At the Honorary Assembly of the Founders, the KIT Foundation's supporters are given a decisive insight into the foundation's activities. The office of the KIT Foundation is integrated into the Innovation and Relations Management (IRM) service unit at KIT.

Am 23. Oktober 2025 trafen sich die Gremien der KIT-Stiftung zu ihrer jährlichen gemeinsamen Sitzung. Im Anschluss fand der 3. Stiftungstag des KIT statt - eine hervorragende Möglichkeit des impulsgebenden Austauschs und intensiver Vernetzung.
