Bewerben können sich Absolventeninnen und Absolventen, die in den letzten beiden Jahren ihre Master- oder Doktorarbeit in den genannten Schwerpunkten angefertigt haben.

- ein Empfehlungsschreiben des Betreuers / der Betreuerin der angefertigten Arbeitb)
- ein Exemplar der Arbeit (elektronisch)
Preisvergabe
Die Preisvergabe des Peter und Luise Hager-Preises findet jährlich im Rahmen des Tags der Fakultät im Sommersemester statt. Aufgrund der Pandemielage kann aktuell keine persönliche Vergabe stattfinden.

Mit dem diesjährigen Preis wurde der folgende Preisträger prämiert:
- Herr Dr.-Ing. Jonathan Lefebvre, Auszeichnung für seinen herausragenden Beitrag zur Dreiphasen-Methanisierung von Kohlenstoffdioxid und Wasserstoff an der KIT-Fakultät für Chemieingenieurwesen und Verfahrenstechnik
Der Peter und Luise Hager-Preis wird ausgelobt von der Peter und Luise Hager-Stiftung und verliehen von der KIT-Fakultät für Chemieingenieurwesen und Verfahrenstechnik in Kooperation mit der KIT-Stiftung.
Eine persönliche Preisvergabe konnte in diesem Jahr aufgrund der Pandemielage leider nicht erfolgen.
Die Peter und Luise Hager-Stiftung, die KIT-Fakultät für Chemieingenieurwesen und Verfahrenstechnik sowie die KIT-Stiftung gratulieren dem Preisträger herzlich!

On the occasion of this year's day of the KIT Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering on July 12, 2019, the Peter and Luise Hager Prize 2018 was awarded.
This year, two laureates were awarded for their outstanding dissertations:
- Tobias Geißler, for his outstanding theoretical and experimental work on the systematic investigation of a new type of liquid metal. Bubble Column Reactor for CO2-free Hydrogen Production by Pyrolysis of Methane at the KIT Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering
- Florian Oswald, Award for his outstanding fundamental work on the influence of practice-relevant process parameters on the fermentation of biogenic synthesis gases with acetogenic bacteria under technical conditions and on process integration for the production of high-quality C4 molecules by synthesis gas fermentation at the KIT Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering

The Peter and Luise Hager Prize 2017 was awarded on the occasion of the KIT Faculty Day for Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering on July 13, 2018.
This year, Dr.-Ing. Stefan Jaiser, Institute for Thermal Process Engineering, was honoured for his outstanding dissertation on the subject of "Further development of a competitive manufacturing process for lithium-ion battery storage materials".

This year's Peter and Luise Hager Prize was awarded on the occasion of the KIT Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Day on June 30, 2017.
This year, the prize was awarded for the outstanding doctorate of two laureates:
Dr.-Ing. Boris Bitsch, Institut für Mechanische Verfahrenstechnik und Mechanik am KIT, erhielt den Preis für seine hervorragende Arbeit über ein innovatives Konzept für die Formulierung von Pasten mit hervorragenden Beschichtungseigenschaften zur Herstellung von Li-Ionen Batterieelektroden mit verbesserten elektrochemischen Eigenschaften.
Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Ulmer wurde für seine herausragende Promotion zur Entwicklung neuer kostengünstiger und hochleistungsfähiger Wasserstoff-Speichermaterialien ausgezeichnet.

The KIT Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering announced the award for the first time in the winter term 2015/2016. The awarding took place during the Day of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering on July 1, 2016.
This year, the prize was awarded for the outstanding doctoral thesis of Dr.-Ing. Tim Böltken, Institute for Micro Process Engineering (IMVT) at KIT, on the topic "Development of a Novel Modular Reactor System with Integrated Membranes for the Decentralized Generation of High-Purity Hydrogen from Methane". Young scientist Böltken is co-founder of the innovative spin-off company INERATEC. The young company develops, produces and sells compact chemical plants that convert gases into high-quality fuels.
