Stiftungsfonds

The endowment fund is a special form of donation. The establishment of a separate endowment fund offers the possibility to support already existing KIT projects or a new area. The sponsor can determine the purpose of the fund. The fund's income is then used to support projects and measures in the sense of the sponsor - permanently and effectively. The endowment fund can bear a name chosen by the sponsor himself or herself and thus remind of the life and work of the sponsor or persons close to him or her. Since an endowment fund can be managed unbureaucratically, it is an attractive alternative to establishing your own sheltered foundation.

The "Brigitte-Heller Fund for Scholarships" was established under the umbrella of the KIT Foundation in 2012. The purpose of the fund is to grant scholarships to students, young scientists, and doctoral candidates at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The scholarships can also be granted in the form of support for stays abroad.

The basic assets of the Brigitte-Heller-Fonds for scholarships will be maintained permanently and undiminished in value. The fund's assets will be increased by any contributions by third parties (endowments), insofar as they are expressly intended for this purpose.

In 2014, the "Dr. Gert-Henning and Karin Flick Fund" was established under the umbrella of the KIT Foundation. The purpose of the fund is the implementation of measures that serve the overall objective of supporting young people in the admission, completion, or design of studies, doctoral studies, or scientific careers.

The value of the basic assets of the Dr. Gert-Henning and Karin Flick Fund will be preserved permanently and undiminished. The fund assets will be increased by any contributions by third parties (endowments), insofar as they are expressly intended for this purpose.
